Support of food security research and dialogue
The Programme supports food security research in order to strengthen evidenced-based decision making. This component particularly draws on the Research Grant Scheme which funds research projects on food security issues that have been identified as a priority for Bangladesh.

The Programme also helps to establish stronger links between food security researchers, civil society and the Government of Bangladesh, for example by organizing regular seminars and workshops to discuss research findings and implications on food security policies.
